AZUBI Construction Mechanic (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

As a construction mechanic, you will use tools and machines to produce metal constructions.welding, screwing or riveting - you will be familiar with the various metal processing techniques, be able to operate a locksmith's hammer and metal saw, but also carry out precision work with highly sensitive measuring devices and industrial lasers - always taking safety regulations into account.

Your qualities:

As a construction mechanic, you should think logically, have good hand-eye coordination and a good spatial imagination. You should also have an affinity for mathematics and physics.

Your training content:

Your training as a construction mechanic prepares you for the challenges of your future career - and includes these topics:

What you can expect:

• Start of training
  Training always starts on September 1 of each year.
• Duration of the apprenticeship
  3.5 years
• Part I journeyman's examination
  The first part of the journeyman's examination should be taken in the middle of the second year of training.
• Part II Journeyman's examination
  The second part of the journeyman's examination takes place at the end of the apprenticeship.

Your career opportunities:

After completing your apprenticeship, you can continue to specialize through further technical or business management training.
If you want to go further, you can obtain a master craftsman's certificate (Bachelor Professional) and take over the management of a company and train apprentices as a master craftsman. You can also study with a master craftsman's certificate in your pocket - even without an A-level.
If you want to focus on management, you can train to become a business economist in accordance with the Crafts Code and join the company management team.
